Installing 2 Road Blockers at a Prestigious Caravan Site in Surrey
Recently Total Support Services (TSS) were chosen by the Caravan Club to upgrade their existing entrance and exit security at one of their busiest touring and storage sites in Surrey.
The Club previously had two surface mounted road blockers, these proved to be both insecure and unreliable. TSS won the contract to undertake installing two HRK road blockers complete with a card reader entry and exit system. TSS won this prestigious re-development due to a number of outstanding factors; the Club wanted a high level of security for its members, whilst providing a safe and reliable means of entry to and from the site.
Work started to remove existing equipment and commence civil work to prepare for the two HRK Road Blockers.
Raised and lowered in approximately 2-5 seconds and tested to 20 tonnes axel weight, ideal for use by motor homes and caravans. The blockers are vandal resistant and designed to withstand light vehicle impact. Additional safety features included, safety road loops, infra red beams, signage and a LED traffic light to ensure secure and safe operation.
The total project was completed within the time period specified and within the quoted budget.
