Certified shallow mounted bollard

This certified shallow mounted bollard is designed to protect people and visitors in crowded inner city areas and event spaces. With a minimal installation depth of only 300 mm, the TSS HFFP 273 is particularly well-suited for market places, walkways or bicycle lanes. Thanks to its shallow foundation, it avoids interference with existing underground utilities such as supply circuits, sewage pipes or drains, while providing long-lasting and high-level access protection.

Our fixed and shallow mounted bollard, HFFP 273, successfully passed a crash test at the authorised Crash Test Service Center in Münster. It withstood an impact from a 12-ton truck travelling at over 80 km/h, equating to a kinetic energy of 3043 KJ and an equivalent static load of 1522 KN. This performance is certified according to IWA 14-1:2013 Bollard V/12000[N3D]/80/90/5.4.

The system’s design allows seamless integration into its surroundings, following curves and offering various bollard cover options. It ensures unobstructed passage for pedestrians, cyclists, wheelchair users and prams.

To enable access for authorised vehicles such as police or emergency services, the system can be combined with retractable bollards from our range.
